This easy lemon curd dip is citrus flavored and ready in less than 5 minutes. Perfect for picnics, parties & entertaining at home.
Do you like fruit dips? I hope you do because I have one for you. This lemon curd dip is such an easy dip to make and has such great flavor. I highly suggest you make homemade lemon curd but if you feel like it’s too much an effort then the shop bought one will do the trick as well. By the way, making homemade lemon curd is awfully easy and it only takes 15 minute.
Anyways, this simple fruit dip is perfect for parties, family gatherings, picnics or any get-together. I quite liked the idea of serving this lemon curd fruit dip in a muffin/cupcake tray. I think this way your guests have the dip to themselves and don’t be worried about re-dipping because let’s face it, there is always someone who re-dips, isn’t there? I have a muffin tray for 6 muffins that is perfect for this dip. Let’s say you have 3 couples, so fill 3 holes with this dip and the other 3 with fruits or pretzels.
It could get tricky with larger muffing/cupcake trays and more people but it’s fun, isn’t it? What do you think?

How to make easy fruit dip:
You will be surprised but this dip takes even less than 5 minutes. Isn’t it great? I love it and I love its citrusy taste that goes so well with sweet fruits or pretzels or crackers.
Now you will need a bowl to make this. In this bowl simply combine these 3 ingredients: sour cream, icing sugar and lemon curd. Use a fork or spoon to mix it. Once you’ve done this step you have one last thing to do: Transfer this into a serving bowl or use muffin tray like I did, add fruits and you are ready to serve.
You can chill it in the fridge before, it tastes better but because you normally store sour cream in the fridge, it will be good to go the minute you make it.
I like this fruit dip with sour cream and lemon curd. Those two go well together and create a yummy and easy party food.
In case you have missed it: It’s 3 ingredients & 5 minutes! That’s all. Actually, it might be even less than 5 minutes.
As you can see this sour cream fruit dip is very easy to make. I like easy recipes and if you do too, you will love this one as well!

I was thinking of doing this for a cake filling….your thoughts please?
Julia | Happy Foods Tube says
Hi Sandee. I would not recommend doing so. You will need something thicker. To do so, you would have to experiment with the ingredients. Perhaps using mascarpone as a substitution for the sour cream could work. However, I have not tested it so if you do try, please let us know how it went. Hope this helps!
