Cinnamon Iced Instant Coffee
This cinnamon iced instant coffee is a refreshing & energizing summer drink. A layer of milk, followed by iced coffee and thick foam is finished off with cinnamon sugar!

Guys, this iced instant coffee has been my lifesaver this summer!
The past two weeks have been EXTREMELY hot around here. That kind of hot that makes you do weird things.
Things like cooling yourself down in the frozen section of a supermarket while pretending you are checking out the products. Things like sitting right next to a fan in the hope that your body temperature will rapidly drop down. Using icebox cooling pads like you would use a hot water bottle in winterโฆ Yes, Iโve done that all.
But can you blame me? The heat makes me super unproductive! I find it hard to stay focused. My whole body is exhausted. After 1 pm my eyes start closing. No wonder Spaniards need their siesta in such heat. Apparently, siesta is good for you.
Now because I rarely sleep during the day I look for other ways to help me stay sane this summer. This year I rely on this cinnamon iced instant coffee recipe! It cools my body down + boosts my energy and alertness which is exactly what I need.
By the way, if you are in a rush and need a quick caffeine fix try this 1-minute instant iced coffee. If you have like an extra minute to spare + want to impress your guests make this 3 color cinnamon flavored coffee.
Why should you make this cinnamon iced instant coffee?
- Itโs refreshing
- Boosts your energy
- Itโs pretty & tastes good
- Cinnamon can help reduce body temperature as well!
How to make iced coffee with instant coffee?
Using instant (soluble) coffee is easy and saves us a lot of time. Itโs perfect for making iced coffee because itโs ready in a few minutes. By that, I mean 2-3 maybe even less.
First start off with blending ice, instant coffee, cinnamon and sugar with a hand blender. This will only take a few seconds. Maybe 20-30 tops. Nice (quite thick) foam will form.
Prepare your glasses by pouring the milk in & adding some ice cubes. I fill about a third of my glass with milk because I like milky coffee. If you prefer less, then reduce the amount. Now itโs time to pour in the frothed iced coffee.
Trick: to get nice layers, hold a tablespoon inside the glass so itโs touching it. Pour the coffee slowly onto the spoon. Divide into 2 glasses and top with some extra foam (if some are left). Sprinkle some cinnamon sugar over and serve.
Just so you know the 3 color effect will not happen right away. Allow this instant iced coffee to sit for about a minute before serving.

Iโve been trying to experiment with homemade coffee recipes and this is probably the first one I truly enjoyed. Putting the ingredients in a blender was a great idea, Iโll definitely try this method with other flavors.
That’s great to hear, Madison!
I tried this with soy milk and unfortunately the three colors did not appear :( thatโs okay, it still looks (and tastes) amazing! I loveee cinnamon so I added a lot more on the top. I also added a lot of whipped cream and it came out amazing :)
